Get to Know us!
My name is Hope, and along side my wonderful husband, precious baby and our doggies, we raise the most precious breed of cat, Ragdolls. My journey raising ragdolls started about 11 years ago with my sweet Momma (Kings Kitties Ragdolls). I grew up helping her with just about every part of raising the kitties. From helping mama kitties give birth to meeting with new kitty families and everything inbetween, I loved it all! It is such a blessing to be able to watch these sweet kittens grow and find the most precious families.
When my husband and I got married in 2024 I decided to continue this amazing journey and bring along mink ragdolls (aka cherubims) into our program and that is where PurrCozi Kitties came in play! We have been raising these sweet loves as a family for almost 3 years now and we absolutely wouldn't change a thing.
PurrCozi Kitties Health Guarantee and Health Testing
We pride ourselves in having healthy and happy kittens. That is why we offer a health guarantee on all of our kittens. Kittens go home with a two year guarantee from their date of birth, against lethal genetic or congenital defects. This includes Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). PurrCozi Kitties will replace the kitten of equal value if there is by chance a lethal defect!
Here at PurrCozi Kitties we are extensive with our health testing and the health of our breeding cats! All of our cats have been DNA health tested and are negative for over 50 genetic diseases, including HCM, SMA, PKD and PKDef. Our breeding cats are also FIV/FeLv negative. If one of breeding cats does not pass our health testing then they are spayed/neutered and placed in a loving pet home.
Kittens!
All of our cats are raised in our home! This allows us to properly socialize them with our family, dogs and normal household things. We pride ourselves in having some of the most outgoing, well socialized kittens.
All of our kittens go home with a health exam by a licensed veterinarian, spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and dewormed. All of our kittens go home with all of their vet and health records. If a worrying issue arrises before your kitten goes home you will be informed promptly!
Kittens are TICA registered and will come home with their registration papers and a pedigree explaining their lineage! This is something super cool for new owners to look at as it shows the history of the kittens family.
More than just Breeders...
We raise these sweet kitties because we absolutely adore them and love having them in our home. They are part of our family.
We are extremely committed to improving the breed and are very selective with our adults that we allow breed. This means that we retire our breeding adults responsibly and place them in loving homes. We are also selective about where our kittens go. This is why we have a kitten application that we ask all potential kitten families to fill out prior to placing a deposit on a kitten. We want our kittens to go to the BEST homes possible.
